4:30-5:30 pm - Ballet/Lyrical Two - Ages 13-16
This is a once-a-week ballet class, therefore not intended to develop ballerinas, but to educate an intelligent musical theater or contemporary dancer.
Ballet barre and center floor with lyrical choreography. Students who find this class compelling this semester may want to advance into a regular ballet class in the near future.
Created for students with a year or more ballet, perhaps those returning after a time away, and for dancers pursuing other styles of dance who wish to have a stronger dance foundation with proper alignment, to understand the common vocabulary used in most styles of dance. With an emphasis on technique (spotting turns, placement, increasing extension, and executing movements that cross genres, this class will guide students to more confidence and safety in their dancing.
5:30-6:30 pm- Teen Modern Two
Moving forward with skills in modern technique, beginning improv, and basic composition, students will be challenged to increase their range of motion, power, creative problem solving and creativity.
6:30-8:00 pm - Teen Ballet/Pointe - Ages 14-17
2 days per week class, with the other class being on Saturdays.
Pre-Pointe required. For those with at least one solid year of pointe work or adequate training to safely execute jumps and turns at this level.
We welcome new students to come to one complimentary class to determine placement.
5:30-7:00 pm - Company Ballet/Pointe
Previous training is required for this class.
Ballet/Pointe for more advanced teens who are actively working in various genres or desire ballet to feed their soul and perfect their body.
7:00-8:15 PM - Teen/Adult Modern Three
Previous training is required for this class.
Modern Dance for students with previous dance experience, anxious to improve technique, explore structured Improv and create choreography. We will work with various choreographic tools to make dances that express your ideas and personality.
Choreography for the group will reflect traditional as well as more contemporary modern dance.

7:15-8:15 pm - Adult Tap - Shonnah McNeal
For Beginners or those Brushing Up on tap
7:15-8:30 pm - Adult/Teen Jazz Foundations/Hip Hop
Ashlyn is excited to fashion a class that appeals to older teens and adults who have some dance experience but are looking for a chance to access current styles.
Classes will have a Jazz warm up and move across the floor with standard jazz steps and combinations but will take a turn toward high energy hip hop styles in the last part of class.
5:30-6:45 pm - Continuing Teen Modern
For students with a dance background who are ready to improve technique and and move beyond it to explore Improv, including Contact Improv, and create choreography for themselves and others.
Students will develop their dance vocabulary and learn to use choreographic tools to make dances that reflect who they are and who they are becoming.
Suggested as a second dance class each week in order to work safe and strong.
10:30-11:15 am - Intermediate Teen Tap
Shonnah McNeal continues to challenge students with old school tap because it's truly BACK - with New tunes, combinations and dances.
Tap faster with better tones and tricks. Another goal this year is to improve performance skills.
11:30 am-12:45 pm - Intermediate Teen Ballet
This class is for students with five or more years experience in weekly ballet classes two times per week.
12:45-1:15 pm - Pointe
This class continues from the ballet class above, for those who have completed Pre-Pointe work and at least one year en pointe.
1:30-2:30 pm - Intermediate Teen Jazz
Previous dance training required, but not necessarily in jazz. Teachers will rotate, presenting various styles of Jazz and Musical Theater dance, including Emeline Bevill, Ashlyn Cianciolo, and Pam Atha.
2:30-4:30 pm - Company Class/Rehearsal
By invitation. Ballet and Modern Technique + Improv, and contemporary choreography by company and guests.
4:30-5:00 pm - Advanced Tap Rehearsal
We schedule classes based on comments received from our surveys, and teacher availability, and do our best to place your child in the class(es) of their choice.
