REASONs Contemporary Dance Ensemble is
a dance company that is focused on a
high level of  artistic quality and invention.

REASONs Company Members have the privilege of performing at community events and fundraisers,
serving others with their gift of dance,
and performing in our annual Spring Program.

REASONs choreography communicates
positive messages,
rooted in reason and purpose, through the
language of dance.
We aim high, and challenge each dancer to become a
stronger, smarter, more intuitive dancer
than they were the week before.

Some past performances of REASONs include:
The Multicultural Festival at
University School of Nashville,
The Global Education Event
St. Paul's Senior Living,
The Women and Children's Homeless Shelter,
and 4 years performing at the
Tennessee Women's Theater Festival.

REASONs Dance Company is not a
competition dance team.
However, they have participated in the
Nashville Prevention Partnership’s state wide competition,
So You Think You Can Dance Nashville!,
winning second place in 2014,
and in 2015, winning the award for “Best Message.”

REASONs also performed in September 2015 at the UMatter fundraiser event for teen suicide prevention.

REASONs is accessible by invitation only for advanced dancers who work closely together
in a variety of genres.
REASONs Apprentice Members participate in some but not all performances.
If you are interested in becoming a company member, email us about requirements.
