​A Note about Class Placement

One or more trial classes may be needed to determine placement.  
Ages suggested by each class are target ages only.
​Experience, physical & social maturity, strength, stamina,
and commitment must be considered.
Enrollment in any class requires approval by the teacher.
Placement of students and schedule is always subject to change
in order to create the best environment for learning
​and balanced skill level in each class.
This may require us to try several different classes
to find the best fit.
All students must complete a
​registration form before a trial class.

WEDNESDAYS

4:00 to 4:30
I’m Ready to Dance - Ages 2-3

This class is the first experience with a dance class.
This class is for children who show an interest in
music and movement.
Dancers will learn studio etiquette and movement technique
in a nurturing environment that allows for
a lot of individual attention.
This class uses fun games to teach the
​fundamentals of dance and basic ballet.

4:30 to 5:15
Ballet/Creative - Ages 4-6

This class will focus on the ballet basics including
terminology and correct footing and arm placement,
​while allowing the student the freedom to express themselves through movement with a basic understanding of the fundamentals of dance.

5:15 to 6:00
The Big Three - Ages 7-10

This class will offer a student three fun styles of movement; 
tap, ballet and jazz.
Tap turns a dancers feet and body into percussive instruments.
Ballet will focus on vocabulary and correct placement on 
a higher level than ballet/creative.
Jazz offers a fun, upbeat style of movement to 
more contemporary music and allows for individuality.
A student should have some knowledge of 
​basic ballet vocabulary to enroll in this class.

6:00 to 6:45
It’s Time to Tumble - Ages 5 and up

This class will combine acrobatic/tumbling skills such as rolls, backbends, cartwheels and partner acro with dance
to create an exciting experience for young movers.
It’s Time to Tumble! is intended to promote flexibility,
strength and confidence.
This class will have varying levels of dancers and instruction
​will be tailored to meet the needs of the class.​​
